If I act mysterious and tell you I work for the federal government, will you let me kick a few doors down on drug busts? Apparently you will if you live in Gerald, Missouri.

This is my favorite, "what the hell were these people thinking?" news story of the year so far. Apparently this clown shows up at the local police station with a Crown Vic sporting police lights and tells them he's a federal drug agent. From there, Barney Fife running the police department takes "Sgt. Bill" (his real identity hasn't been released yet) along for the ride making drug busts.

The guy actually developed a reputation for being a little rough with suspects. Complaints about that got him caught.

This clown even arrested the town pharmacist. The problem is, he's not an agent. He's not a cop. He's never been one.

I've never kicked a door down before, have you? Wanna go to Gerald and try it? I wonder if they'll give us guns.

What do you think?
