Food Can Fix the Problem

I'm always interested in the easy-fix.  Things you can use in your house to fix a problem. AOL has a list of food items that can fix your problems.

Did you know:

You can add a teaspoon of pepper to the wash and it will keep your colors from fading..hmmm

Spray white vinegar on your whites to prevent deodorant stains.

For diaper rash, use a thin layer of shortening.

If you have a stuffed up head-nose-chest, rub a thin layer of mustard on your chest and cover it with a hot towel.

Your kids got crayon on your wood furniture. No worries--rub mayo on the crayon mark and let it soak for ten minutes.  Take a damp towel and wipe away.

Ant problem? Sprinkle flour wherever you see ants entering your house and along the pantry shelves.

If you drop a glass or break a vase, pick up the big pieces and then take a piece of bread over the area.  it will pick up all the little pieces.
