The Fairview Heights Fire Department is sponsoring a meat shoot on
October 26, 2008 at 10002 Old Lincoln Trail, Fairview Heights, IL.
Starting time is 1:00 p.m. This fun raiser is to benefit the
Children's Burn Camp. This camp is a place for children who have
been severely burned and can feel special again. While at camp they get
medical treatment and counseling. It is also a place for them to get
away from their everyday problems and it also gives them a chance to
make new friends.
In addition to the meat shoot, there is a silent auction along with raffles for cash, ham, bacon, turkey and steaks.
There will be free bean soup all day which is made by a firefighter.
