The Fairview Heights Fire Department Meat Shoot and Silent Auction to Benefit Children Burn Victims

Where: 10002 Old Lincoln Trail, Fairview Heights, IL. Starts: October 26th @ 1:00 PM Ends: October 26th @ 6:00 PM The Fairview Heights Fire Department is sponsoring a meat shoot on October 26, 2008 at 10002 Old Lincoln Trail, Fairview Heights, IL. Starting time is 1:00 p.m.  This fun raiser is to benefit the Children's Burn Camp.  This camp is a place for children who have been severely burned and can feel special again.  While at camp they get medical treatment and counseling.  It is also a place for them to get away from their everyday problems and it also gives them a chance to make new friends.

In addition to the meat shoot, there is a silent auction along with raffles for cash, ham, bacon, turkey and steaks.

There will be free bean soup all day which is made by a firefighter.
