POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, business or related field or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years successful management experience preferred in broadcast promotion, marketing, advertising, or related positions. Past experience to include demonstrated ability and flexibility to:

    *    Follow through with successful completion of marketing, programming, sales and station objectives;
    *    Work with management to design and implement effective promotions for the Bonneville St. Louis Radio Group stations; successfully oversee communication and motivation of other people to ensure that the overall promotion goals established by management are followed and achieved;
    *    Exhibit strong written and verbal presentation skills;
    *    To be creative, aggressive and energetic in developing results-oriented promotional campaigns, contests, sales promotions, etc. that tie into and appeal to target audiences.

  • Ability to understand and adhere to each station's format and direction.
  • Ability to project verbally and in writing an enthusiastic, positive, and creative approach while maintaining excellent working relationships with a variety of clients, hosts guests, community organizations, and resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under stress.
  • Valid driver's license and proven ability to safely drive company vehicle or personal vehicle as case may be without exposing the company to serious liability risks.
  • Consistently works hours required. Works more when required for station events, promotions and to meet deadlines including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc.
