NBC Just started the new season of The Biggest Loser. Keep an eye on Team Pink. It appears the daughter in the duo has some anger control issues. She was arrested and charged with domestic violence after attacking her male roommate with a bag of flour. The roomie has a basement apartment, and was apparently playing his TV too loud.  Shanon kicked the door in and pummeled him with the flour. I wonder if it was Gold Medal or Pillsbury.

I hate it when kids die. It is just not fair. I have never been able to make sense of it, and I do not think that I ever will. I know that whenever tragedy happens, we all speak of going to a better place and how there is no suffering, but still..kids should not die. It's just not the way things should be.

Jett Travolta, the 16 year old son of John Travolta and Kelly Preston passed away while on a family vacation in the Bahamas this weekend. He is reported to have suffered a seizure. I would expect a firestorm of controversy to surround this tragic event. For years, people have said that Jett suffered from Autism, and his parents had denied him treatment due to their belief in Scientology. I hope that is not true.

A very sweaty Charles Barkley arrested in Arizona last night for suspicion of DWI. Barkley plunked down a whopping 2000 plus dollars at a bar for he and his friends but apparently did not save enough for a cab home.

Matt Dillon has always been so good at playing the bad boy, and last night he was living up to his onscreen reputation. But I have to give him credit, he was not on drugs or drinking. He was not knocking his woman around, or caught in any embarrassing situations. He was quite simply speeding. But he was speeding ALOT. He was clocked doing 106 in a 65 MPH zone. ONE HUNDRED SIX! Vermont Police took him into custody and he is to appear in court on Jan 21. Slow down there Dallas. You are far too cool to lose!

I have to say, even in this mugshot, he is the vision of hotness. Needs a shave, but still looking good.

Today the Illinois Governor essentially told his detractors to kiss off and named a replacement for the seat vacated by President Elect Obama. Now, being the rebel that I am, I am enjoying this thouroughly. Blagojevich named Former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris to the seat, and asked that the controversy not taint a good and honest man. Chances are this appointment will not hold due to the issues surrounding Blagojevich, but there is one thing that I would like everyone to consider.

I don't know if Blagojevich is guilty or not. But I do know that he has NOT been convicted of anything. He has simply been charged. He may seem like a black eye to the state of Illinois, but really, is our country not based on the thought that everyone is entitled to a fair trial? According to the Sixth Amendment, he is.  I think Blagojevich deserves the same impartial jury that everyone else does. After that, let the cards fall where they may.

It is stories like this that make me proud to be an American. Taking someone elses humiliation, scandal, or tragedy and making it profitable. Now I am not being sarcastic, these stories are what make us Americans a special breed. I played Blind Melon today and got to thinking about that video and bee girl.  First it is an interesting story, the cover art for that album was actually a photo of the sister of one of the band members. When it was time to do the video, they cast a bee girl, and made her up to look like the cover girl. That is when the world met Heather Deloach...aka, bee girl. Even though bee girl propelled that band to new heights, lead singer Shannon Hoon (RIP) had this to say about her...

"That girl was so annoying I was ready to strangle her the day we were shooting the video. Her parents got mad at me because I tood off all my clothes and ran through this field. They didn't take to kindly to that and grabbed her by a wing and left."

Whenever you can use the word floozy you should. It means tawdry woman. I think Megan Hauserman could be considered a floozy, but that is just my opinion. Everyone has an opinion, and Sharon Osbourne apparently was not liking the opinion of Ms. Hauserman during the filming of the Rock Of Love Charm School Reunion. Megan said that Sharon was only famous for managing her brain dead rock star of a husband, her words, not mine. Osbourne flew at Megan, grabbed her hair, scratched her, and security had to pull Sharon off. I hope they don't cut this out of the reunion show, it is scheduled to air January 4. Anyway, Hauserman ended up in the hospital, and police are investigating. Charges have yet to be filed. I wonder though, was Sharon angry for the insult to Ozzy, or was she ticked that Megan implied that Sharon was not famous in her own right?
