Well I do declare, it's mighty nice to have you back! Won't you sit a spell and have some of this here Toast I made for you? Here's what the stars did to amuse us this week:
Star Gazing
Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker introduced the paparazzi to his fist. After a little taunting from photographers, the rocker and his crew let their hands do the talking in an altercation that, of course, is making its way around the Net at rapid pace.
Growing Pains star Andrew Koenig has gone M.I.A. The man we all came to know as Boner is nowhere to be found, despite the efforts of Vancouver police. Koenig's father says his son suffered from depression and recent reports indicate the actor emptied out his apartment, seeking a fresh start. Update: It ain't good.
Tube Talk
The question of who will replace Simon Cowell on American Idol lingers, but Simon himself has now added to the drama. The Idol short timer balked at rumors Howard Stern might fill the void, saying the radio host was too inexperienced. Mr. Cowell did suggest Perez Hilton would be a suitable replacement, citing the gossip blogger's outgoing personality.
NBC is losing another late night staffer. This time it's Tonight Show bandleader Kevin Eubanks on his way out the door. The guitarist has reportedly told the crew he'd rather go on tour than continue with Jay, and Kev's expected to phase himself out of the late night picture shortly after Leno's return.
Reel World
Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis team up for the Kevin Smith-directed Cop Out. The film follows two of New York's finest as they attempt to recover a stolen baseball card in order to pay off a wedding. The plot's far from original, but early reviews indicate it might not suck after all.
The Crazies hits theaters as well. This one's semi-based on a George Romero novel that tells the story of a small town whose inhabitants turn into bloodthirsty creatures after a nearby plane crash poisons their water supply.
That, and plenty more lies straight ahead. Just watch the video and pass it along when you're finished.
