Finding $7500 in cash might be considered a really good first day, that's for you to decide. Teodora Petrova (two months in U.S. after moving from Bulgaria) uncovered a stash of large bills Friday, Nov. 7th at the Goodwill Store in Glen Carbon, Illinois. It was her first day on the job. Teodora found the money in a bin of donated shoes and turned the wad in to her manager (who was last seen on a plane to Vegas). Just kidding. They're trying to find the owner today (11/10).
Lewis C. Chartock, president and CEO of MERS/Goodwill said, "It is not always easy to locate the donor because as many as fifty percent of donors do not ask for a receipt."
