A lot of people don't like to admit their age, but restaurants like to brag about it - especially when a major anniversary rolls around. In the restaurant industry age is a badge of honor that says 'when you have been around as long as we have you must be doing something right.' The Old Spaghetti Factory is making a hub-bub about their 40th anniversary this year and we are the ones who are reaping the benefits. Yesterday the restaurant rolled their menu prices back to 1969 costs, and they are continuing their anniversary celebration by offering 40% off their their spaghetti, meatball, and Italian sausage dishes on Monday and Tuesday nights through the month of January.
The Old Spaghetti Factory is a family friendly restaurant that many people consider a St. Louis tradition, and I was actually surprised to learn that they are a chain started outside of St. Louis. The local association with The Old Spaghetti Factory made a little more sense when I saw that St. Louis & Chesterfield are one a very small handful of locations this way of the west coast. Our city's original Old Spaghetti Factory, located on the Landing downtown, has become a favorite among St. Louisans for the casual atmosphere, awesome pasta dishes, and the old St. Louis vibe that the historic building where it is located gives off.
If you haven't checked out this city favorite yet, I hope this month's cheap menu prices might be just the excuse you were looking for.
The Old Spaghetti Factory is located at . downtown, and in Chesterfield. They are open for lunch seven days a week at 11:30am, and they start serving dinner at 5pm Monday through Thursday and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
