Wow, Jessica Simpson is packing on the pounds! The ditz turned country singer is apparently storing an exorbitant amount of food in her body to help her survive the cold winter months, much like polar bears of the Antarctic. Oh wait, she lives in sunny Los Angeles, ok maybe she's just getting fat.

Splash News snapped a few shots of the swelling songstress belting out country tunes during a chili cookoff this weekend hosted by a radio station in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Organizers say they didn't even plan to host Ms. Simpson, but the singer says she never misses a chili eating contest. Orgnizers then said "Ms. Simpson, this is a chili cookoff, not a chili eating contest, and where'd you find that shovel you're using?" to which Jessica replied, "Screw you guys, you're just jealous that I can eat a 50-gallon drum of chili and still look this sexy."
