Nearby in Festus, a family of four has been living in a cave for the past five years...by choice. The Sleepers (the name of the family, not what they do in their cave home) bought the well-known cave on eBay, and after a good run in the 17,000 square-foot natural dwelling, they're now putting it up for sale.

Other than the fact that it's literally in a cave - and that there are three professional-grade dehumidifiers to make the space tolerable - it's set up like most homes you're familiar with. The adventurous family carved stairs up to the second floor, where you'll find bedrooms and a bathroom, and the spacious cave home even has a gym, study and a goldfish pond.
