My God look at you boy/girl...you must be starving! Have a seat and munch on some Toast. Here's how the Hollywoodians spent their days this week:
Tube Talk
With her American Idol contract coming to an end, Paula Abdul hinted in an ABC interview she may not return; partially because nobody asks for her input, and partially because producers cut off her Valium supply.
Kim Kardashian occupied a few seats on the Tyra Banks Show this week. The curvaceous reality TV star stopped by to judge a Kim Kardashian look-alike contest featuring several cross-dressing men...mama must be proud.
Just two years ago Kirstie Alley showed up on Oprah flaunting her slimmed down body...but this week the actress waddled in again to admit to Oprah she's fallen off the weight loss wagon since then and the weight is back and worse than ever.
Star Gazing
Sarah Jessica Parker is set to welcome twin girls with her husband slash wife Matthew Broderick. The actress enlisted the help of a surrogate to spawn the tykes and The Toast nabbed the sonogram image; check it out.
People Magazine wants to be sure you're aware that you're not the best looking person in the world. In fact, editors created a giant list of people who are better looking than you and published it this week as their annual Most Beautiful People issue hit shelves. Christina Applegate tops the list, followed by Abe Vigoda.
A Los Angeles judge has ruled that Britney Spears brainwasher Sam Lutfi must keep his distance from the pop star. The court just handed down a restraining order against the former photographer, telling him to stay the hell away.
Reel World
Despite the much-hyped leak of a rough cut, X-Men Origins: Wolverine is expected to tear it up at the box office, with Hugh Jackman turning in another performance as the clawed superhero. Reviews are mixed on this one, but looking at the other flicks opening, your options don't get much better.
Matthew McConaughey continues his crappy romantic comedy streak with Ghosts of Girlfriends Past; a film starring Jennifer Garner as the girl who got away from a man who's become a player of sorts. After a visit from his dead uncle, Matthew travels back in time to revisit old flames and realize he never got over that one special lady...if there's an emoticon for vomit, insert it here.
Lionsgate brings us the animated film Battle for Terra; the story of an alien and a human who fall for one another and set out to convince their races not to eliminate each other before everyone ends up dead. Critics say this one's a bit preachy for the kids, so spend that ticket money at your own risk mom and dad.
That, and much more awaits you, so watch the video and pass it along to someone who likes things that are awesome.
Sincerely,
Father Patrick Everypriest
(I kid! I kid!)
And- btw- almost choked on my coffee with the site of Sarah Jessica Parker's twin horses. Classic!
Thanks for an awesome start to my Friday!
