they were sold out before they even went on sale.
Whoever ran the presale released all the tickets, and they are all gone. That is not supposed to happen
I think Taylor should add another snow!
That's not fair to people that stayed home from school or work to wait for those tickets..just to find out the presale sold them all.

I totally agree!!! This is stupid.... I think pre-sales should only be allowed for Fan Club members who actually pay to be in Fan Clubs. Which normally isn't a lot of people in one designated area like St. Louis. I am on the Rascal Flatts fan club and we get VIP pre-sales but there is only a certain amount they can sell so that everybody else gets to get tix. Plus people pay to be in the Fan Clubs. Pre-sales should also only take place an hour or so before general public tickets go on sale... this is an issue that needs to be solved with future shows. Now if I can somehow work up 600 dollars to buy horrible seats off Ebay or Stub-Hub.. I can go, because I never win tickets from any radio station. But I don't think that 600$ is worth it....
  • I also was dissappointed that the Taylor Swift tickets were sold put before the public was able to buy them. I sat for 2 hours on the compter at Ticketmaster trying for tickets. It never did say they were sold out. I had to check your websight to see my time had been wasted. very dissappointing!!!
  • I agree with everybody, my mom tried getting tickets for me and my friends friday morning but no she couldnt get them because they were sold out before they even went on-sale! I was literally so sad that i cried because i wanted to go to her concert that bad but now i can't because they sold all the tickets for the pre-sale which i didn't even think that you could do that but apparently you can now a day's. I really don't think they should have sold all the tickets for pre-sale because there were people waiting (like my mom) for the tickets to go on-sale at friday morning at 10 am. I think they should have saved some tickets at least to give out for the actually ticket sale. I mean alot of people dont no about a pre-sale. I am just so mad a sad at the fact that i cant go to the concert now because i wasnt going to be able to go because i didnt have enough money for me and my friends to all go but our moms decided that we could go because it was 50 bucks but we would have to work it off which was fine because it was worth it and then we had no ride up there because my mom wasnt going to take us but then i talked her into it so we had a whole plan on how we were going to get up there but then the tickets went on-sale and they were sold out before they even went on-sale! I am so upset that i dont get to go!!
  • i went to schnucks on that friday morning and i had really no problem getting tickets. I couldn't get more than 2 seats together but i ended up getting 4 tickets total. I got there right at 10 am and there were only a handful of people there. I got my first two at about 10:10 and the second two about 10:15. I'm sorry u didn't have any luck but i guess i'm one of the lucky ones
  • I agree with maryann. i was online at exactly 10am and not 1 ticket. there's some major hoardin goin on, probably mostly for resale profit and i don't think that is right at all.. they should limit presale tickets so everyone has a chance to purchase. or maybe taylor could come back and visit at the ampitheatre. never had problems getting tickets for anyhing there!
  • I tried the presale and wasnt able to get them either!!!

i hear you i tried thur and could not get tickets either.i wish you would of used all of scottrade
  • Ticketmaster sure has ruined the real getting tix experience. I remember years ago my brother and I would wake up early, and go get a spot in line. I understand getting the opportunity to purchase tickets "out there" but come on, there are so many tickets listed on ebay that are not even anywhere near St. Louis to rip off the American people, in a recession no doubt. I think the venue should be able to keep the majority of the tix available local...you know, like the old days....and stand in line at the box office. Nobody gets the chance of getting close to the stage anymore, unless you've got money to burn to buy them from a broker like Stub Hub. I love technology, and the internet, but there are somethings that should stay offline.

I have to say I find it hard to believe that tickets sold out so quickly. I logged on and then started checking other websites to find tickets were hoarded by ebay sellers, stub hub and other online businesses. Needless to say I'm very disappointed in Taylor Swift and her people to allow this to happen. I am sure it is not her fault but I think the artisit and their handlers need to start controlling these ticket sales and not allowing this to happen. I have 2 very disappointed 12 year old girls who really wanted to see her in concert and now they are so turned off they may not listen to her anymore. I know T.S. music is good but it is very hard to explain to a 12 year old sorry Mommy couldn't get tickets because ebay sellers and other big giants took all the tickets and jacked up the prices to triple and up per the normal price. The average working mother cannot afford these types of tickets. I say shame on ticketmaster and others for allowing this to happen. I even tried presale. Ticketmaster said there was a taylorswift.com presale but it never worked as well as other presales. Very disapointing. T.S. and her people need to make this right to all the young teenie girls in the area and do another show specifically for them otherwise I may boycotte her all together. Althought it wouldn't make a difference.
  • ST. LOUIS (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - Some country music fans are fuming, after trying to buy tickets to the Taylor Swift concert at the Scottrade center last Friday. The concert sold out in just four minutes! We received several e-mails from viewers like Becky who writes, "I was the first person in line at ten and the tickets were already sold out! My sister loves Taylor Swift and all I wanted to do was take her"

Another viewer named Christy wrote, "Now they are selling really high on several websites, remember hannah montana? My 14 year-old daughter was really wanting to go to this."

We checked several websites and Christy wasn't kidding. We found one website selling tickets for more than $1,200.

If you were lucky enough to get one of the best tickets in the house at the time they went on sale, it would have only cost you $49.50. Last year, the Missouri Attorney General's office intervened after hundreds of Hannah Montana fans were shut out of a concert event.

FOX 2 News contacted the AG's office, who said they hadn't received any complaints about Taylor Swift tickets, yet. If you would like to file a complaint, you can go to their website or call 1-.
  • I too failed to get tickets friday morning, I was on the phone and internet and had no luck. I think it is so unfair that the average person could buy the tickets. I have three daughters and for their birthdays they wanted to go to the concert. I'm sorry but I can't afford the prices on ebay. I did contact the attorney general, however, I'm sure it won't do any good.
  • I was disappointed that I was unable to get tickets for my two grandaughters. I do understand its a dog eat dog world, but it seems like its all about the all mighty dollar. What happened to going to a concert to just enjoy the music? There wasn't fighting for tickets or tryingto make up the most outrageous way to win. Four of our family wasted two hours each trying to get tickets. that is time we can never get back for our family. I say try once, then enjoy your family. Time passes so quickly. Don't waste a minute to let your family know you love them.

Although I didn't try for the Taylor Swift concert tickets, this is a problem that plagues many of the concerts that come to the St. Louis area! Then whoever has said tickets is selling them again either legally or "scalping" them on the street before the concert to anyone to make a bigger killing and the people who gain form this are the seller, and eventually the person and company putting on the show!

But, to blame Ticketmaster or the people who got the presale that I presume goes on for each concert isn't right! Being this is Taylor's first concert tour and the venue is not huge, I am not surprised to hear it was a sellout immediately!!! Realistically this venue isn't the biggest area it could be for her concert! It would have to be the Baseball Park to begin to even fill enough seats for all the fans here in the St. Louis and surrounding area for the FIRST Taylor Swift concert! But, this is just my opinion, for what it is worth today!
  • Are you going to do more contests??? I tried calling in this morning for the 5 celebrities... I had them ALL! I'm still going to try to get tickets... I really want to be at that concert! I'm a huge Taylor Swift fan!
  • If the concert had been held at UMB Bank Amphitheater, it would have been better suited to hold enough people. There really is no great way to combat tickets being sold out though. Supply and demand is the biggest problem but there really is no way to combat it. Even adding multiple dates can cause problems with not enough interest. And this also doesn't help with the high prices still.
